Sustainability and quality policy

Sustainability and quality policy
The Martin & Servera Group is a leading player in the wholesale business of food and related products to private restaurants and commercial kitchens in the public sector. As a market leader, we are big enough to make a difference and take responsibility. We operate in the middle of the food chain between the farm and the restaurant table and can thus create a positive impact both upstream and downstream in our value chain.
The Martin & Servera Group strives to develop our business with customers in focus. Customers and other stakeholders should feel safe and have confidence in Martin & Servera Group and its operations.

The Martin & Servera Group's operations, products and services must comply with applicable legislation relating to quality and sustainability and live up to our customers' and other stakeholders' expectations in terms of function, safety, social compliance, health and environmental impact.

We work with established certifications and standards to ensure and show our customers that we have functioning procedures for controlling goods, products and deliveries. Food safety is constantly in focus, and the business has well-functioning processes and routines to maintain an unbroken cold and freezer chain. We are constantly working on our goals to reduce environmental impact and streamline operations. We are certified according to; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, ASC, MSC, IP Food, ISO 22716, Fairtrade, KRAV and EU eco.

The Martin & Servera Group works with sustainable development to meet and satisfy today's needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The social, economic and environmental perspectives are interdependent.

The Martin & Servera Group's sustainability issues are based on a due diligence process, which includes work to identify, prevent and counteract potential and actual negative impacts on social and environmental sustainability issues. The work creates an understanding of our significant impact and risks throughout our value chain.

In accordance with the EU legislation on sustainability reporting, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), a double materiality analysis is carried out based on the perspectives, our impact on the environment and people (material impact) and how Martin & Servera is financially affected by sustainability risks and opportunities (financial materiality). The outcome is produced and audited annually by the Group Management and decided by the Board of Directors. Outcomes, governance, strategy, action plans, metrics and targets are presented annually in sustainability reporting.

Sustainability is one of four cornerstones of the Martin & Servera Group's strategy and is integrated into all parts of the business. Together with our customers, owners, employees and suppliers, we will work actively to promote sustainability, quality and food safety by systematically striving for continuous improvements.

Sustainability work should be permeated by a positive culture and implemented with a holistic business approach, proven technology, the right expertise, and at least at the level required by law.
